AMD has made available a new version of its Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver, namely 18.11.1 (18.40.11.01), which corrects the corruptions seen in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus when viewing lava or water, and more.

This new update makes sure Assassin’s Creed: Origins won’t experience crashes, fixes Strange Brigade intermittent application crashes when using DirectX12 API, and resolves the constant instability or game crashes encountered with the latest Windows10 October 2018 Update.

In addition to that, AMD’s release also improves performance for Hitman 2 (up to 3% faster) and Battlefield V Early Access (up to 8%/9% quicker on the Radeon RX Vega 64/RX 580) games and ensures support with Fallout 76.

However, AMD might still encounter issues with Radeon Overlay, systems running multiple displays, Battlefield V, Radeon RX Vega Series graphics products, and other problems highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Regarding compatibility, besides a supported GPU model, take into account that your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating system.

Therefore, to upgrade to this version, uninstall any previous AMD driver present on your computer, perform a reboot, save and run the downloadable executable suitable for your configuration and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

With this in mind, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 18.11.1, install it and perform a reboot once finished to enjoy these new changes. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
